Community garden

We grow more than plants.

We grow connection, collaboration, and community pride through shared garden spaces and hands-on learning.

This Christmas

Walk Through Christmas History.

Groups decorate the garden beds in a Christmas era of their choice — Medieval to Modern — for a walk-through display the whole community can enjoy. Applications are open until September 30, 2026.

BCF Cultivating Community Garden

Cultivating Community Garden brings neighbors together to learn, grow, and give back. Through hands-on gardening, pollinator stewardship, and shared purpose, we transform city space into living classrooms and welcoming gathering places where people and nature thrive side by side.

We are proud to be the first registered Pollinator Pathway garden in Kentucky, helping create safe corridors for bees, butterflies, birds, and other vital pollinators throughout Carter County and beyond.

Interested in joining the Pollinator Pathway or partnering with us? Write to asamons@bcfcenter.org.
